Daniel Calderon
Associate Attorney

Daniel Calderon comes to Feist Law with years of experience in humanitarian immigration and courtroom litigation. After a successful career in social work, Daniel went to Mitchell Hamline School of Law to transition to legal practice. As a student attorney, Daniel worked for Ramsey County, handling hundreds of felony prosecutions in criminal court. He then worked with the Minnesota Supreme Court as a legal resident, handling legal research and writing assignments for the Justices of the Supreme Court.
After obtaining his J.D., cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline in 2021, he began working in immigration, focusing on humanitarian immigration. In that role, he handled asylum and deportation defense cases, appearing regularly in immigration court and litigating dozens of cases through to a final adjudication, as well as arguing appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and maintaining a caseload of dozens of cases in criminal and family court.
At Feist Law, Daniel now continues handling asylum and family cases, as well as applications with USCIS that may require extended legal argument such as O-1 and EB-1 petitions for permanent residency.
